Galloping Lizrog and Wildborn Preserver

[[Wildborn Preserver]] and [[Galloping Lizrog]] used to be a better interaction on arena. When galloping lizrog would enter, it would trigger wildborn preserver to add 1/ 1 counters and then they could be transferred to lizrog. Now it is reversed so counters get transferred to lizrog and then you can pump up lizrog.
Why the change? I checked the rules for both cards and there was nothing specifying this sort of situation.
