I'm seeing a lot of outrage over the Pioneer announcement but the issue isn't having pioneer, it's that historic is so poorly supported.

This is what Pioneer would be if it were to be added to magic arena today:

Historic with no ban list

That means nexus of fate is back. (I don't know what else is banned in historic).

I really don't want to play historic with cards that made everyone sick and tired of playing, the format is already bad enough population-wise lol.

What people should be getting angry at is historic's lack of support, be happy for our brothers and sisters getting Pioneer for paper and magic online.

But the format being added to arena? It makes 100% sense for Wotc to not add it to arena, because it's not a format that makes sense in arena, cards like nexus are banned for a reason in arena and yet not in modern.
