I just ended a 1-3 draft run with a deck I really liked. 2 good games. 2 games with INSANE mana screw.
I am so incredibly frustrated and crushed. I seriously don't understand how we're OK with the fact that we don't get to play as many games for our $$ as another person that gets luckier or is better. I should have the opportunity to play the exact same number of limited games every single time for my $$. The only thing that variance, wins, losses, and skill should affect is the rewards (which are [practically] worthless for those of us that play limited only anyway...). I seriously don't care about the rewards. I just want to play X games for Y dollars EVERY TIME.
It's so soul crushing to lose a game and know that means that I don't get to play anymore. It makes it impossible to enjoy playing. I spend way more money on this game than I should already, and I feel like it's not worth it when this happens. I JUST. DON'T. GET IT.
