I ran into the same issue as many other users posting here - I was able to redeem prerelease codes from GRN, RNA, WAR successfully, only to encounter a bug where the client doesn't allow me to enter any of those events sealed/draft using the token. I submitted a ticket and support staff got back to me in under 24 hrs and gave me gems instead to enter those events.
Here is an official response from MTGA support requesting that we submit tickets via "Report a Problem in your Event":
