Anyone else slowly slipping on their game play due to lack of progress?

I'd seen some streamers like TrueDawn mention they were growing a little bored of the game since the only reward to playing is more cards. I love growing my collection and all but that is not something that makes me want to log in daily/semi-daily. I wish they would just make 1 ranked mode that you can see the progress and it actually mean something. I played only casuals for over 3 weeks and it just burned me out I was ONLY getting a couple of cards a day and a pack. Thanks but I want something that gauges skill so I can see progress of skill.
