I'm competitive, and care about my rank, but I've also had a ton of fun brewing considering access to as many cards as we have (which has been awesome and is really generous).
There is currently no mode where I can just play kitchen table Magic.
I've been doing some "research", I guess you could say, and I've played against mono-red in the generic "Ladder Constructed" que 16 of 20 of the last games I've played, and the others were U/W Control.
I get that people are wanting fast games, regardless of matchups, just because they want to grind. Trust me, I get it.
However, as a user that enjoys both brewing kitchen table stuff and highly competitive Magic, I feel like it's a complete waste of time to do anything other than play in full Tryhard Mode.
I think one of the best features they could possibly implement would be a friend list with private matches.
Casuals and competitive players desperately need a solid testing tool. And it be just that, a tool.

Because it's the Beta, and if we want a better end product, we suggest things that would make the experience better for all players? Fuck me, right?
