How can I force out Valgavoth or similar with these mechanics?

I saw a player use [[splash portal]] to flip a manifested dread card rightside up. So that got me wondering...

Is there a way to get a card on top of your deck, and then manifest dread it to flip it with splash portal?

I'm thinking [[insatiable avarice]] into manifest dread, to then splash portal it rightside up. [[Scheming symmetry]] could work too.

[[Underwater tunnel/slimy aquarium]] would surveil,and help set up the cards on top a bit as well.

But yeah. Combo would be: card on top, dread, exile and return.

Suggestions?

Edit: cards like [[lively dirge]] into [[forever young]] would be nice too. Plus they're common!
