If you had to pick just one card in all of MTG history, Which one is your favorite, and why?

Due to my inconsistent playing and collecting of MTG over the long history of its existence i do not have a large library of cards to reference from. Therefore i will pick an old card that was basically used as a Commander-ish type card prior to my knowledge of Commander EHD. This would be [[Ascendant Evincar]]

I ran a mono black deck of cards >2008. Ascendant Evincar would prevent the use of token creatures as most were 1/1 and would instantly be destroyed (in most cases). this would also buff my other cheap creatures a little bit. like basic zombies and such. I would give Ascendant Evincar the ability to regenerate and swamp-walk, while transforming an opponents land into a swamp. I also included [[Nightmare]] into my deck. i pretended it was Ascendant Evincar's steed, lol.
