Mine was when I realized that I don’t need to reinvent the wheel every time I play. There’s a reason some of my pet cards don’t get played. Also, I can learn to play other people’s already tested decks well, and do well with them.

Taking the time to start acquiring and really digging into all the different lands. Learning to make a good mana base can turn even the jankiest deck into a powerful one with the right kind and amount of mana at your fingertips.
