The list allegedly is the albums that shape the world we live in today. Madonna made it to 77 with Like a Prayer. I had a discussion with someone at work about cultural impact that if Michael Jackson’s Thriller is 2 and Prince Purple Rain is 3, then why Madonna only at 77. If those 2 albums are up there, then shouldn’t Like A Virgin be at least in top 20?
Nile Rodgers was one of the panelists (who produced the record) as was Honey Dijon (who was on Celebration Tour) so i Know either could have advocated for her as far as albums
True Blue could be in there too. Just strange when you think of impact why MJ & Prince are top 5 and Madonna only at 77
