Is it worth it to start paying for abilities now, or do you wait until training drops.

Again, this is my first year playing from launch, and I’ve had a few lucky pulls and gotten my team to an 85 OVR. Is it worth it to start putting abilities on guys now? I have A.Thomas, Dumervil, Garrett and Weddle on D, and Jackson, 88 Bo, E.McCaffrey and Andre Johnson on O as my top tier players. I’m also wondering if it is worth it do have a theme team this year without Team Chems from Jerseys and such.
