I enjoy the game. I play coach only offline franchise mode. I hate that we have to control the kickers and punters in fact.
Anyway, my very first regular season game (as the Raiders) against Baltimore I was getting crushed. Score was 38-3 just at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Momentum changed, and I was able to get the game up to being tied at 38 with the last play of the game.
I got the kickoff in OT and stalled out in the red zone so I kicked a field goal. Baltimore struggled and stalled out on their own 48 after a couple of holding calls. It was 4th and 17.
I got this won. What a comeback. They lined up with an obvious hail Mary (who wouldn't). I called a prevent dime. Ball thrown deep into a crowd at the 5 yard line. It bounced out of the crowd right into the hands of a Baltimore receiver. He fought forward for a TD. Refs took a longer look at it (never seen this as I couldn't challenge because scoring plays are all looked at). Sure enough the ball broke the plane and we lost.
Nothing looked funky like plays you see posted all over it was a clean batted ball and close TD.
I've since played 4 full seasons and haven't seen any of the strange teleporting players or anything of the sort. The only thing that bothers me is when the RB is running and has a huge hole opened in front of him and he side steps into tacklers. It happens quite a bit, bit it happens to the PC and my team so it's an equal opportunity bug it seems.
Just my observations and am not saying the game has problems. I've just been lucky I guess so I can enjoy it the way I want to play.
Now, as for the kickers, I really, really wish there was an option to have them kick it because I just want to coach and not control any players on the field
