I just started playing Madden 24 since it was on game pass and I noticed a few things.

When I play new games I start with the easiest difficulty and move up when the game starts to get too easy and I want more of a challenge. Playing Madden I noticed something and I wanted to know if this was because I was new or just how the game plays.

So I noticed that rookie is so easy to don't even need your QB to throw the ball, you can just run it from one endzone to the next with little to no issue. The opponent AI is foolish and will not be able to get through the O-line whatsoever. You have no excuse to lose a game on rookie.

Now when I up it to pro I expected the game to get slightly harder by the AI getting smarter. However, I noticed that the stupidity had gone from the opponent's AI to my team's AI. O-line can't block to save their lives. I thought I doing something wrong until I noticed my blockers walk past defenders and allow me to be sacked. That's also when my WR would start dropping every single pass I threw to them. Almost every pass!

Am I crazy or is this just the game?
