Big fan of the Mad Max Movies. However, I feel like Furiosa might of been a bit declawed, or sanitized by big hollywood suits. I feel like there's a gritty version that might of got left on the cutting room floor. I feel like George's tendency not to shy away from the more violent side of things might of been dulled. I hear rumors that there was a lot of gorey scenes shot for Dementus that didn't make the cut.

Also, there was various treatments of the script. I feel like maybe the current marvel climate on big action movies might of shifted the tone of the film to a more heroic origin story take on it, than a true post apocalyptic one. If we had the same intensity that we had in the first 15 minutes of the film through out the film it would of been way better. I just feel like there's not enough fury in Furiosa. Even in some of the fight scenes there's just a lot of shrugging off of really psychical hits, or dismemberment. There's no real emotional weight to any of it.

I feel like she's kind of muted not sure if its studio intervention, or the direction the actor took. Also, I feel like it cheapens Furiosa's revenge line in Fury Road. "Remember me?" A line said to Immortan Joe. I feel like Dementus was such a focus of her back story now that it doesn't make sense. It loses a step because of that. Yes, Immortan Joe was a huge pain in her ass, but not on the level of ripping his literally face off. In short I feel like the film might of went under a lot of alterations, and feels more studio than Miller.
