New machinist question. I want to make a long (about 20 inches or more) tapered triangular cross section.
Post Body

Iโ€™m trying to make a tapered triangular cross section. Tapering from .500โ€ wide to .250โ€wide over a 20.0โ€ length. I know how to achieve this with a wire edm but the one I have access to isnโ€™t large enough. My question is how would a more experienced machinist do this on a mill? What kind of fixture would you use to support an odd shape like that?
