I really like my shop. But I've been getting promised more money for two years. In that two years I have had many responsibilities, including: managing the network (and getting us to 800-171 and CIS level 4 compliance), doing all the QA work on the CMM, all of the 5-axis programming, all of the EDM work, all of the robot programming, 90% of the non-basic repair work on machines, etc. For $30 an hour, the same rate I was making January of 2020 in Central Florida. I spend way too many hours working on work after hours. Honestly, I felt only relief.
