No clue on this one but Vitor released a free font on his page not long ago that has a somewhat similar effect (scroll down to the Diamond font), I haven’t tried that one yet but I know it uses two layers of foam added at different times in the stitchout to achieve that pointed look. Might have been a similar technique to create this one too.
