Using tear away stabilizer on heavy weight hoodies
Post Body

Hey guys,

So I want to use about 2-3 pieces of tear away stabilizer and a water soluble on top of a heavy weight 36 oz 100% cotton French terry hoodie. I don’t want to use cut away because of the inside of the hoodie (which obviously if I absolutely have to then I will. This is just my preference)

This design will be about 11-12” wide and my guess about 25-30k stitches.

My question: will doing this really affect the quality of embroidery? Or will the weight of the hoodie actually be helpful to pull this off?

Wanna see if anyone’s done something similar. Thank you!
