Contractors rattle when charging starts

The last two days when I’ve plugged my car in, instead of the usual CLACK of the contractors, it sounds like they open and close 6-7 times. It makes for a bit of a rattling sound for around 1 second. Then it begins charging normally. Anybody experience this or know what’s up?
