Question RE: Sequoia, widgets & external monitor...

Post Body

Heya everyone - still fairly new convert to the Apple world here.

So I have a 14 inch M1 MacBook Pro. I have it almost always attached to an external monitor that I use in conjunction with the built in display - so I have, essentially, two screens.

When Sonoma came out, I was excited about being able to use widgets - but I found that if I would put a widget on my external monitor and allowed the Mac to go to sleep for any significant amount of time, it would reboot on me. I would wake my computer to find it yelling at me for rebooting without properly ejecting my external disks. It was very frustrating but I figured out that if I would just NOT put widgets on the external monitor, everything was fine.

But I really wanna use widgets on my external monitor....

Does anyone know if Sequoia handles this better?

Thanks 👍
