I am a huge Mac fan, love him to death, think the best thing about him and I that feels like it keeps me most connected to him and my spirit is that we share the same bday.

Love all his albums and play him religiously since first hearing Knock Knock way back when.

I am very familiar with a LOT of his music. A LOT. i find some singles unreleased of his songs with Ab-Soul and all these other soundcloud gems in-between and i dont revisit most but i do some. I have some of these songs and some tapes in my Local Files on Spotify.

I know this man has a plethora of unreleased songs and tapes (Balloonerism, Delusional Thomas, Jukobe Prelude/ The High Life) officially or unofficially.

and those tapes are the reason i chose to not revisit them or listen to them at all because i know Mac’s fam love him and his music they care for his legacy and allows me to have 11 year old music feel brand new to me and i love it.

ILLTY was a tape i listened to very scarcely in high school it didn’t quite stick to me back then as much as his other albums had. but now, it feels so refreshing to have “new” music, so for those fans who are new from 2018, 2020, 2009, 2011.

i am glad some of us have been able to enjoy this tape for 11 years, or 11 days, or 11 minutes. because it doesn’t matter how long you’ve listened to a certain tape, it matters how that tape makes you feel in that moment, and how mac’s music makes you feel at any time.

here’s to hoping that we get an official Vinyl release! eventually Delusional Thomas and Ballonerism on streaming services! (i doubt Balloonerism cause it was never finished but just maybe!)
