Does anyone remember in 2014 when that show about a serial killer starring Victoria Justice called Eye Candy premiered? I was really into that show when it first came out, but the prospect that it got cancelled after 1 season was no surprise. Why? Because it was EXTREMELY obvious that the show was only created to test the waters for Scream. They wanted to see how a horror/mystery show performed on MTV, and when it performed good/ok, they knew if they made a show with a big horror name like Scream on the title it would draw in an audience. At least that’s my theory.
