So irl I play 8 rack in modern, I haven't gotten around to buying everything online to play it yet but I through together an extremely budget version. Now I'm talking haven't even bought racks yet, I'm just running 4 [[Shrieking Affliction]] kind of budget, no [[thoughtsieze]] either. I also haven't played any tournaments yet just constructed open.
Here's what I don't understand, at least 50% of the time the other person quits at the end of the first game, often times the first turn when I play a [[raven's crime]]. Do people really hate playing against discard that much? Is it that it isn't a popular deck in the meta so they figure playing me isn't a "real life" test of how good their deck is? I don't have a deck list handy but it's pretty standard discard, [[pack rat]] and some removal.
