Strider Bike Experience
Post Body

Looking for some info from any parents who had their kids using Strider bikes. My son is two and a half and he's really taking off on his bike. I've taken him to our pump track a few times and he just rips around the circuit. The problem I'm having now is that he has a need for speed, and when we get to some hills with larger inclines, he has no will to slow down. I see they have a brake attachment, and I'm wondering if anyone's bothered to buy it? I realize that even if I buy it he may not use it, but who knows, right?

Comments

I could not recommend these enough! My sister got my nephew one when he was right around a year-and-a-half and he loved it, and instantly took to it. They live in the mountains too so there's plenty of hills and whatnot to play on and I think the fact that it was very easy for him to bail if he got scared made him push his limits and learn a lot. That was almost 8 years ago, and the dude rips on a bike. Not just downhill, but moto too. And he still has his strider and uses it when he's bored and wanting to dick around. They have 100% got their money out of it, and just got one for my 1-year-old niece
