Hey all I'm planning to finally move into the 29er universe after being with a 27.5 for more than 5 years. I'm currently torn between choosing the Propain Spindrift AL 2021 ver. and the Transition Spire.
For context, my local trail is XC focused that's got some punchy and techy climbs, large amounts of flat singletracks, some fun and short descents and a skills zone that's got gap jumps, berms, tables and drops. I've got tons of experience with enduro and downhill (which I enjoy a lot more), and I'm looking for a bike that's easy on pedaling but rowdy when the trails are pointing down. Budget wise is still unclear since I plan to build this bike from the frame up since purchasing a whole bike is out of the equation for me.
Any of your opinions are appreciated! 🤙
