Hi all, first post here, normally just a search and read type of person but I'm in need of some advice (sorry in advance for the long read). My wife and I currently live in Germany. Our favorite riding here is bike parks, the parks in the Alps are 6-7 hours away, and we have a few closer in Germany that are 3-4 hour drives. When we don't have the extended time to make those drives, our local riding has A LOT of climbing. So, in addition to our enduro bikes I have considered adding an E-MTB to the mix to make our days around the house more eventful. All of that to get to this, we have a dilemma (rough, I know), my wife was offered a job in Oahu, Hawaii. We have researched and found some good riding, however, it's much different than here, which is expected. For those with first hand knowledge, is there a need for an E-MTB in Hawaii or can we just leg it out? Here the steep cost of the E-bike is justifiable to a point, but if it's not needed at all then I'd rather save the cash. Thanks all!
