I’ve learned so much about biking over the past few months. Now I understand how little I really know.
I got into riding 2-3 times a week in August as a way to get in shape.
As my fitness and skills improved, I bought a used Santa Cruz Chameleon, 27.5 . This is such a fun bike. It’s helped me expand my skills and fitness. I’ve worked up to doing 15 mile rides with 3k ft of climbing. Loving it.
My goal is to climb my local mountain. It’s about 30 miles round trip, mostly on fire road trails.
How much easier is it to climb riding a gravel bike? Is it kinda sketchy to go down rough and steep terrain on one?
