MOTION TO COMMIT TO THE PROTECTION OF FAITH SCHOOLS

This Assembly Recognises

That faith is a key part of Northern Ireland's culture, and plays an enormous role in people's lives.

That faith groups ought to be afforded the same rights to raise their children in the practice, education and values of their faith, as other faith groups in the United Kingdom are.

This Assembly Resolves To

Ensure that the protection of Faith Groups in Northern Ireland are held at the heart of its actions.

Ensure that legislation passed, which infringes on the rights of faith groups to practice as they wish, be repealed.
