Motion to Promote the Wellbeing of the Rural Community
This Assembly Recognises:
- That the rural community of Northern Ireland is an important societal group, deserving of as much attention from this Assembly as Urban areas.
- That poverty rates in rural communities are often as bad as, if not worse than, those found concentrated within Urban Communities.
This Assembly resolves to:
- Call for the Minister responsible for Rural Affairs, and the Minister responsible for Economic Affairs, to come before the Assembly and make clear their plans for promoting the wellbeing, both socially and economically, of the rural community.
This bill was submitted by /u/HenryJohnTemple on behalf of the DUP.
