One is to grow it's enterprise analytics software business, and the other is to acquire and hold Bitcoin.

The analytics market is highly competitive. The future success of the business depends on how well they can differentiate their offerings from their competition.

The Bitcoin strategy is complementary to the software business. Their Bitcoin related activities enhance awareness of of the brand, and supports the Bitcoin network.

They are exploring opportunities to apply Bitcoin technology, such as blockchain analytics into their software offerings.

MSTR is not a Bitcoin ETF. Anyone who compares it to an ETF simply does not understand the business model.
