My wife and I are registered to attend a take over in January in North Mississippi.

We are just starting to explore the LS, but not a “LS Couple” . Our plan is to attend this one just to observe others, but no swapping or anything like that. We will definitely have fun together. That said, not ruling out anything either, but our plan is to see what take overs are about.

Can someone tell us what a typical take over is like? Is there a main gathering area where people mingle and get acquainted? If so, does all the sexy time activities only occur in the hotel rooms? Or do people get wild in the main party / gathering room? If you do go back to your room for play time, and you are open to guest watching or joining, do you leave your door open? Basically, just trying to see what the etiquette is for take overs. We are complete newbies, so please feel free to share any information we should know.

Last, is the hotel hip to what’s going on that night?
