Defeating Slumbering City on Extreme with no deaths

Its a pain. Im trying so hard to kill him. My Dark Gat dies first really but he usually lasts until the bosses ult. Tried def down and it usually works but I guess my DPS is lacking but I cant put glass cannons (which is honestly my Gat) cause they die too fast unless I have a shield mon. Help? Any tips or anyone have a friend mon I can use?
