Updated dragon center lacking the free up memory button?

Does anyone know if the newer version of dragon center (2.5) have the "free memory" button? I had to uninstall and reinstall and it was a newer version. My gs65 is all of a sudden, even in idle using about 6.5g-7gb of ram and it used to be around 5.9gb when I would use that free memory. Is there a way to do it with this one? Or can someone tell me why and how to fix having such high ram when doing nothing?
