HDR not working on my GF63

So, I bought a GF63 thin 11 SC few months back and had to do a fresh install of windows 11 pro (it was preinstalled with home) due to my institution MDM and stuff.
on the new windows, I noticed 2 changes,
1. HDR doesn't seem to work. iirc my I have noticed my screen changing brightness before the change of software.
2. The option for dynamic refresh rate went missing. (Intel Arc center states my display supports both VRR and HDR)
And now I have reverted to the old image using MSIRecovery (i had a backup) and even after doing that, the two issues still persist.
Also, now I can't even see the HDR preview from the settings as shown below.
