I have a MSI GF65 9SD
It says on the website that it has a ddr4 8gb 2666mhz installed and slots. Does this mean the motherboard is 2666mhz? I’ve seen some people upgrading with 3200mhz but wouldn’t be pointless as it will only run at 2666mhz if that’s the motherboard setup? Or is it actually higher and they just installed a 2666mhz for prebuilt reasons?
I want to get 3200 but not if it’s essentially pointless.
