Hi guys, my i9 12900HK has been overheating while gaming. I have 13 cores, and their max temperatures recorded today are, respectively: 84, 71, 97, 94, 88, 71 and the rest is 65 or below (min 61).
Worse still, I suspect they've been higher before I downloaded Core Temp (the computer at least felt burning hot to the touch!).
This is literally a new computer which I've had for less than a month. I've already experienced the keyboard bug, with it's half hassed fix, and the screen wash bug, which I also managed to fix, but now I'm worried I might be damaging my machine by running it at these elevated temperatures during gaming.
So, a few questions:
- How do I check for heat damage?
- Are these temperatures "normal"? (My guess is NO).
- I always have battery saving mode on, could that be the reason?
- Is there a way to check all time high temperature I might have reached at all?
Thanks all
