Still waiting on the horrible food, can’t seem to find the inattentive and unfriendly staff, guess I missed all the rude fellow passengers. This cruise has been more similar to my Royal Caribbean cruise than not! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the food I’ve had so far, even the stuff I wasn’t crazy about wasn’t disgusting or inedible. I’ve been happy with the variety at the buffet, some things rotate and get changed out daily… new pasta dish, new meat at the carving station, etc. Again, I don’t remember the food at the Windjammer on RC being any better than what I’ve had here. It does get crazy at the buffet certain times, I’ve had breakfast at 6:30am when they open and that has been the perfect time to go. Very quiet down there in the early am. Lunch seems to be hit or miss, haven’t quite figured out “the best” time to hit up lunch.

The staff have gone out of their way, imo, to make you feel welcomed and serve you. People remembering me, my name, what I like to drink. I’ve seen them even remember fellow passengers from previous cruises! It is not Cunard white glove service, but is anyone really expecting that here?!

My fellow passengers have been rather pleasant on this cruise, no overly obnoxious cutting/line jumping, rude behavior, etc. (at least that I’ve seen/experienced) I would say the majority are from North America, with a decent amount internationally (Europe, Asia, etc.) again, also not very different from the type of people I remember seeing/meeting in the last RC cruise.

There have been minor hiccups, but nothing I think is out of the ordinary for any cruise. Elevators can be crowded and hard to get during peak times… I try and take the stairs as much as I can. The ship itself has been very nice, lots of nice features and spaces onboard. Plenty of less busy and more secluded areas to relax at. The bridge crew has been very efficient in navigating the ship, we arrived to both Port Canaveral and Nassau earlier than scheduled, and were able to disembark earlier than expected!

Overall I’m really enjoying this cruise, and so glad I decided to bite the bullet and give MSC a try, I will definitely be considering them again for another cruise!
