How to replace the hot end thermistor wire?

I was cleaning my hot end last night and accidently broke the thermistor. I tried to find a way to clean out the hole but didn't have much success. I ordered a new wire, but I'm not sure how to connect it to the hotend.
I did some googling but only one video and don't show much, and most other information is about fixing the bed.
