iPhone XS case compatibility w/ iPhone X

It's probably been asked before, but I wanted to double check.

I'm making the jump from iPhone 7 to X really soon, and I wanted to know if the improved XS case works with the X, since I really want to use the lenses I already have.

Additionally, I've had a relatively terrible experience with my collection of broken iPhone 7 Moment cases, (mounting area kept cracking no matter how tenderly I rotated the lens, and phone.) and wanted to know if the new XS case was any better in terms of not breaking after extended use.
