I was scouted on the st in April, but there were a bunch of internal changes (my first two agents "left"). I was out of the country for my ft job (not modeling) from July-Oct but emailed in advance of my return to set up a meeting. It's been about two weeks, and my agent has responded just enough to let me know he's "just figuring it out." I did two test shoots with four looks while abroad and sent him the samples (all of my moodboards were made from the agency's books on their site). I'm signed for three years and am not necessarily crazy about modeling but figured I'd try it since I was scouted & it works with my wfh schedule. I've been rotating email/text every couple days to ask about the meeting, and he still hasn't given me a time. Could it be that the company is no longer interested in developing me as a new model? It's a little more upsetting because when I first signed, I asked why they were so quick to offer a contract & the first agent said, "you have an interesting face," and they were going to "protect my image" and try to get me into NYFW. I got excited and lost weight / started dealing with minor health problems (5'8 115lb) to prepare for my return, but now...I'm being ignored? Would love any insight from experienced models or others in the industry! I've also set up chats with other models at my agency so hopefully that'll help as well.
