“Hello New Zealand, today TheOWOTringle, the leader of the Kiwi Party will be joining us”
“Hello there, what a pleasure it is for me to be here today.”
“Anyway let’s get straight into the questions. Our first question is from Jane in Auckland who asks: Why should I trust you to deliver the legislation you promise?”
“Well, the only thing you need to look at is our track record. When we were in the red-green-blue coalition, we made sure we could get as many promises in the coalition, and we managed to legislate many of our promises. We continued to fight for our ideas and policies since and we will continue to fight for our promises in parliament and turn them into legislation which can be debated in parliament."
"Our next question is from Andrew in Wellington who asks: Who are you planning to work with after the election?"
"Well we're willing to work with anyone apart from the front, although it looks unlikely we're getting a national government. We'll work with people who will give us the most of our policies, not necessarily the ideologically closest. Like after the April Election where we worked with the left because they gave us what we asked for, unlike National who were unwilling to compromise."
"Before you leave, do you have anything you want to say?"
"Yes, I want to say that you should at least consider voting for the Kiwi Party, our enviromental policy is better than the Greens, our economic policy is better than National, and we won't just lie lazy in parliament, we have a record of pushing for what we stand for, so don't be brainwashed by the major parties, have a brief read of our manifesto and policies, it isn't going to be too long a read. You're vote matters so use it wisely and vote kiwi."
