Former minister TheAudibleAsh MP kicked off his campaign at the Friendship House near the Manukau train station right in the heart of the electorate. In his speech to the local national branch and constituents, he talks about some National policies for the next term and discusses the weaknesses of the opposition and the neglect of the electorate from the left.
“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.”
“You’re all probably wondering why I even bother contesting this heartland seat for left leaning parties. Well the truth is, I actually care about the residents of this multicultural electorate. I believe in a New Zealand where everyone is treated equally, regardless of factors like race, sexuality or how much money you have in your wallet. I have fought on a pro multicultural stance in parliament. An example of our work is the Asian heritage museum, which promotes the cultural roots of Asian kiwis.”
“Alright, let’s get straight to some policies for the upcoming term."
"The National party is the party for business and investment, we plan to crackdown on unlawful filthy militant unions that have threatened workers and employers which the socialist greens have promoted and protected in their term in the 5th parliament. We plan to bring back 90 day trials for employers for inexperienced staff and restore fair collective agreements between the two parties. We will allow businesses to impose pay deductions for partial industrial action to ensure that businesses aren’t paying people that don’t fulfil their responsibilities in their job. The New Zealand Business number will be broadened in the private sector and the public sector. I will discuss more policies tomorrow in my next rally.”
“The Labour party have neglected this poor electorate. Manukau was left without an elected representative for quite a bit of time now thanks to the carelessness of cotote who did not swear in for the seat. The left have also long abandoned the people of the electorate when they started to delve into unnessercery issues and started to internally infight and fracture.”
“Elect a true representative for this seat, that will stand up for the interests of the seat. Ash for Manukau!”
“God defend New Zealand and God save the Queen!”
