Labour leader and MP for Auckland fartoomuchpressure appeared at an event in Central Auckland to endorse the Green Party’s Uncooked Meatloaf.
“It is inevitable that with limited resources, there will some things which cannot be done. Since neither party has been able to stand candidates in all nine electorates, Labour and the Greens have worked together to ensure that there is a capable left-wing candidate in each electorate. The Labour Party has chosen not to stand a candidate in Central Auckland because we believe the Green Party’s Uncooked Meatloaf is the best person for the job. I personally have had the absolute pleasure of working with Uncooked for the last three months as part of the government. He is a hard-working, talented individual who understands this community and will do an exceptional job of representing Central Auckland in Parliament.
“Labour voters in Central Auckland have a couple of choices, and I would ask them all to vote for Uncooked Meatloaf for MP and the New Zealand Labour Party for their party vote. You’ll get a wonderful local MP from the Green Party and still get Labour MPs in Parliament.”
