Manukau candidate Fartoomuchpressure attended a Christmas lunch at Netball Manurewa organised by the Whana Ora Community Clinic.
The event was attended by around 200 people and had things such as a bouncy castle and karaoke.
The Christma lunch was made possible by donations from the community, including the Labour candidate, who helped out at the event.
Fartoomuchpressure was unable to stick around for very long after the lunch, needing to be whisked away to his next event, but managed to spend around half an hour talking to people and answering their questions.
Our reporter Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Journalist was able to talk with him briefly.
“Shouldn’t you be at home with your family?”
“Didn’t you see my video? I was just with them! You have a valid point, though, I haven’t been able to spend as much time with my family this Christmas as I would like to.”
“So your schedule’s pretty full, then, for the next few days?”
“Yeah, it is, I’ve got a lot of things lined up for the week. I’m off down to Wellington early tomorrow morning and then I’ll be continuing around the country.”
“Will we be hearing about any new policies in the coming days?”
“Yeah, there are a couple of policy announcements, several of which I alluded to at our campaign launch yesterday.”
Mr Muchpressure was then distracted by the karaoke.
