TheOWOTringle starts doorknocking
Hello, how are you today?
I'm good thank you, what you here for?"
Well I'm a candidate for the Ikaroa-Rāwhiti and I'd like to be your MP, so I was wondering if you're gonna vote for me.
Well actually I was thinking of voting for Labour, but I'm still open.
The Kiwi Party are thinking of opening a Universal Basic Income, while also being the strongest party on the climate. Even the Greens wouldn't back a carbon-neutral goal by 2030.
Wow that's interesting, I'll research more into you.
Thank You, one last note, Labour are unlikely to win here. So if you want to vote for a winning candidate, it's either me or the greedy greens.
TheOWOTringle rings the bell on the next house
Hello, I'm TheOWOTringle and I'm running to be you're local...
Are you the Kiwi Party person?
Yes, I'm the Kiwi Party candidate for Ikaroa-Rāwhiti.
I'm a Liberal Voter, but they aren't standing here, I'm split between you and national. Why should I vote for you?
Well firstly, the Liberals endorsed me for Ikaroa-Rāwhiti, so I've got the backing of your party. The National Party are also relatively inexperienced and are newcomers to the political stage, will they know how to represent you, I sure will, I've been doing it for 2 terms now. Finally National simply can't win in Ikaroa-Rāwhiti, it's a two-horse race between the Greens and the Kiwi Party, so if you want your vote to actually choose a candidate, vote Kiwi in the by-election.

Hello, I'm the Kiwi candidate for the by-election in Ikaroa-Rāwhiti can I have some of your time.
Sure, I'm thinking of voting Greens because climate change is the biggest issue to mankind.
Well interestingly enough, the Kiwi Party has pushed for a carbon-neutral New Zealand by 2030, which the Greens voted against. The Kiwi Party also pushed the Greens into planting 10 million trees this year. Every extra Kiwi representative will push the greens more and more towards climate legislation.
Wow interesting, you might have stolen my vote.
Please do consider voting for us, we can make a positive impact on the government if elected.
TheOWOTringle walks to another neighbourhood in Taupō and knocks on some more doors
Hello, are you the candidate for Ikaroa-Rāwhiti?
Yes, yes I am.
Oh I'm a Kiwi supporter, I was actually wondering what I could do to help out.
Well, doorknocking is super helpful to spread the word, why don't you join me.
That sounds great, I'd love to.
TheOWOTringle goes doorknocking the rest of his day with his new friend
