A new video has been posted to TealBlog, targeting voters in Northland.
A shot of /u/silicon_based_life sitting in the Cafe Blue in Kerikeri. He is sitting at a table, with a sandwich in front of him.
“Greetings, Opportunities Party faithfuls and followers. Some of you may recognise this cafe - it is where my close friend and ex-United Future leader /u/KingEthan15 made his endorsement of my candidacy in Whanganui way back in the last general election. Since then, the Opportunities Party and the United Future party have banded together and formed a government with the Labour and Green parties. This governing arrangement has been significantly lucrative as far as policies for our two parties go, with the Opportunities party being given the go ahead to implement our tax, superannuation, and environmental policies in full. The governing arrangement we have created is progressive, comprehensive, and focuses on equality for all. The input of our party, and of United Future, meant that the more radical socialist factions of the Green Party and Socialist Aotearoa were kept out of government, and the governing arrangement was kept stable and focused on preserving the strength of our market economy.
“In order to keep the strong gains TOP has made in government alive, I implore the voters of Northland to now support WillShakespeare in their electorate. A vote for him is directly a vote for the policy of the Opportunities Party, and a vote for a strong, stable governing arrangement. New Zealand has been lucky, in the past decades since the 1930s, to have a strong tradition of stable government, with every government making it through each term intact, and the ordinary lives of New Zealanders not impacted. Keep up this trend. Keep New Zealand a strong democracy, keep Opportunities Party policy at the heart of government. Vote for WillShakespeare in the Northland by-election.”
He picks up his sandwich and bites it.
