We're both late 30s/early 40s and she has never tried anything like this (I've had some experience), but all of this was her idea in the first place so we're both very much open to anything. Does anyone have experience trying to break into this lifestyle while feeling very rusty about their ability to hit on others? We don't really get much time to just go out all night, so that's a big damper in things, but she's been having self appearance issues for the past few years since she had to get a historectomy before 40 which I worry about. She's incredibly attractive in my opinion but I don't want one night making her feel like she's no good anymore. Maybe we were just too overly optimistic, both of us had quite the track record picking people up when we were younger and it sucks to say, but it is at least a little hard to keep up these days. Do you guys suggest still trying just going out and bar hopping to hit on perspective people, or is something like an app or this sub a much better way to get good results?
