I want to try reading poly books but ones I’ve come across just ain’t for me.

I read a book a while ago and the side characters are in a 5 way poly-ship and they were all alphas but one was the alpha king. The alpha king was mates to all of them, and then the 4 are paired, so like there was already 2 couples and both couples are mates with the king. They all felt the mate bond but only emotionally, mentally and physically nor sexually. Even though they were side characters I fell in love with.

I’m looking for anything where they’re all dominant or higher in power like money wise or alphas or ex military etc.

I would prefer if it wasn’t a couple looking for more to join after like a few years of being together.

I’d rather it be a couple who are new to their relationship and figuring out one or both want something more OR who are already aware of their interest in multiple partners. Or if it’s mates for for them to find eachother around the same time.

Avoid anything with twinks or generic omega type characters. I don’t mind omegas as long as they’re not portrayed as small and weak and helpless but rather lager than the average omega and can hold their own Yk.

Avoid age gaps over 10 years.
