I like medieval themed games a lot. As well as the actual historical period. A few months ago I've joined a game development team whose goal is to make a hardcore medieval MMORPG with complicated battle and craft system etc. Itβs worth mentioning that we all a passionate players of KCD and LiF as well.
Our team recreate the real pieces of armour and weapon of 14-15 century. The same thing we do with all character animation. We use motion capture technologies to scan attack, defence and other movements of a multiple champion in historical fencing Ivan Vasilyev. His strikes, blocks, and moves provide the basis for character animation.
What do you think about this idea? What do you want to see in such game?
I can share more information if somebody will be interested. Here you can read or just check some videos and screenshots - http://flowerofknighthood.com
