As title, is there any semi-recent (5 years old or newer) mmo that plays like Lineage 1?

What I am looking for is a top-down 2D/2.5D mmo with Lineage 1 combat (think Path of Exile, where you "aim" with your mouse). I also quite like the gear progression of Lineage 1. You can get end-game weapons and armors fairly early, but actually upgrading them to end-game playable state takes time (or luck in both farming valuable drops and upgrading itself).

Lineage 1 PVP resembles "real world" pvp, where strength comes in numbers. Even if you somehow RMT your way up with the best gears (Lineage 1 was released in an age with monthly sub and without cashshop), you might be able to beat 3 players consecutively, but facing 3 or even 2 players at the same time is still pretty unwise. Lineage 1 also has open-world PVP.
